Hi, my Switch (serial: XAJ002542....) which was able to run Atmosphere doesn't seem to be able to do it anymore.
The jig does work, I've tried it with my other switch and there are no problems. But with this one I can't get int rcm anymore, it got discharged (i'm not using autorcm) and after a full charge it only boots into the "normal mode". I've tried with a PC, a Dongle (the ns-atmosphere one) and an android device to no avail. With vol+ and power with the jig it doesn't boot up in the normal mode but it can't accept any payload, and tegra doesn't even recognized it as in RCM mode. It runs the 9.0 FW

Perhaps you damaged your joycon rail.

Is there a way to check?
It is possible to fix it?

If you were able to enter RCM mode before with the same Jig and that you cannot enter RCM mode now, good chance you might have damaged the rail. Does the right joy-con communicate/charge with the tablet?

Problem is probably the rail, you probably going have to replace the rail, alternative is to hard mod the unit, to dual boot so you can enter RCM mode without a jig.

Oh, if it's just a matter of replacing the rail like this (https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nintendo+Switch+Right+Joy-Con+Rail+Replacement/113167) it shouldn't be that hard. The jigs are working fine on my other Switch (which was mine since day one, the second one was used so probably the previous owner used a paperclip or something... because it worked fine for me for months with my jigs)

Yes, but it doesn't get recognized. I get Unknown USB Device on the device manager and the it disappear.

My guess it is not shorting 1 of the 2 pins that the jig is shorting when you are doing it correctly, if you have the proper tool to take it apart then it is not too hard, alternative is to hard mod like I mentioned earlier

Ok. and just to be clear I need the right one, right?
I know that it's the right while facing me, but is it the right side on the replacement part too? Stupid question but I don't want to waste time by getting the wrong one

These two are part of the joycon not the rail itself.

These are what you need.
