Sage is a healing job in Final Fantasy XIV that was introduced in the Endwalker expansion and uses theirnouliths to channel aether, shielding their allies and attacking their foes. They can only be played after completingthe required quest in Limsa Lominsa, after reaching Level 70 on another job and owning the Endwalker expansion.

Sage (SGE) is a barrier healer with a mechanically interactive kit andan extreme focus on preventative healing with its many sources of shielding andmitigation.

Kardia allows Sage to passively heal their "partnered"party member each time they cast a damage spell, placing an even larger focuson high GCD uptime. With this passive healing and their focus on preventativemeasures, Sage is an incredibly powerful healer while the run is goingwell. With a little planning, its powerful abilities can effortlesslytrivialize many healing checks.

However, this clear strength is balanced out by its relativey lowrecovery potential. The fact that it struggles to recover from bad situationsfurther emphasizes its identity as a preventative healer. It is both incrediblyimportant and highly rewarding to take advantage of your greateststrength—the ability to make sure the party never gets into a badsituation in the first place.

To unlock Sage, you must own the Endwalker expansion and have at leastone combat job at level 70 or above. The unlock quest can be found at LimsaLominsa Lower Decks (x9.4, y12.9). Speak with the Sharlayan Maiden to acceptthe quest "Sage's Path." Upon completion, you will unlock Sage, which begins atlevel 70.

The Eukrasia Gauge lights up when Eukrasia is active,signaling that the next cast of Dosis, Diagnosis,or Prognosis will be modified to its Eukrasian variant: Eukrasian Dosis, Eukrasian Diagnosis, or Eukrasian Prognosis, respectively.

At level 45 and above, you gain one charge of Addersgall every 20seconds (both in and out of combat). The charges are displayed at the top ofthe Addersgall Gauge. The bar acts as a timer for your next charge ofAddersgall. These charges are used to cast many of Sage's off-global-cooldown(oGCD) heals: Druochole, Ixochole, Taurochole, and Kerachole.

At level 66 and above, you gain one Addersting charge when the shieldfrom Eukrasian Diagnosis is broken by damage. These charges aredisplayed in the three spaces at the bottom of the gauge. Each charge can beused to cast Toxikon/ Toxikon II.
