Tarik has played video games his entire life. Even since his middle school years, Tarik had been interested in becoming a professional gamer.
He first watched Counter-Strike tournaments at a young age and admired one of the players, n0thing, who has now retired from professional gaming. Tarik signed with Netcodeguides.com in 2014, which was the start of his professional gaming career.
Tarik was thrilled to take over n0thing‘s spot on Cloud9 in August 2017; it was a dream come true for him, who had always aspired to become a pro when he was younger.
Professional Career
Tarik only finished his freshman year at college before leaving to pursue a career as a pro CS: GO player. Initially opposed, his parents are now wholly supportive. In fact, Tark’s mother, brother, and sister all go together to watch him play in major tournaments live every few months or so.
